Tracx Launches New Product Designed Around Customers’ Time, Priorities

Social Data, Social Media Analytics, Social Media Listening, Social Media Software

We’ve listened to our clients, and have been amazed at how they use our social media software to make product decisions, engage with their fans and improve their social customer service. We wanted to help them get these same things done, but faster. Because the one thing we heard when we talking with us customers, was how precious and limited their time has become. Whether they are launching a campaign or monitoring a breaking news event, they all have that same thing in common.

When we created this new, improved version of Tracx, we built it around giving our users back the one thing you can’t buy more of: time. Whether it’s our real time mention counts, 1-click analytics or colorful data overlay charts, everything is meant to get you there faster.

No more waiting for downloads.

Getting to the “Why?”
By offering 1-click to insights, marketers and researchers can immediately see what is driving the activity behind the spikes. If a sudden increase in product mentions is being caused by a new trend that fits that item, not catching this insight in time could cause an inventory problem. Or, if an influencer promotion garners more engagement than anticipated, the window for boosting that advocacy could pass by unless it was clear within seconds of logging in. That’s the type of time-sensitive processing the new platform caters to.

However, as a company, our roots going back to 2008, are grounded in quality. The way we get you to the analytics is smarter, allowing for all filters (by time, gender, topic, sentiment, etc.) to be applied to any data set anywhere within the system. By combining powerful analytics that display immediately and in real-time with aesthetically pleasing visualizations that give meaning to the data, users are able to process what they are seeing faster, thus saving them time.

They Wanted It Yesterday?
The other trend we picked up on, not just with our clients, but with social media monitoring in general, is that we’ve finally got what we wanted – social media is now at the heart and center of the brand. With that integration across departments comes an increase demand for sharing social media data with other teams who might not know the lingo or have time to read through pages of reports. They still want to know what their fans are saying and the impact their brand is having online. Which is great. But satisfying those demands is taxing on a limited-resourced social media team.

Our exportable dashboards are the most flexible, most customizable “reports to go” on the market. Once the data points are selected, they can be displayed in a variety of ways and filtered using our roaming “slice and dice” bar. There’s even an annotation widget to bullet point your analysis for a quick explanation of the data. From there, users can either share out a link that will take you right to the report (still updating in real time), or capture it in a PDF to be emailed. It’s hard to even imagine, but what if you didn’t even need PowerPoint anymore?
